To celebrate the 20th anniversary of GIS Day - an international event to showcase Geographic Information Systems technology - the Town of Huntsville invites you to "Pull up a chair and Share".
Join us at the Library from 1-3pm on Wed. Nov. 13, 2019 for a chance to win a free ArcGIS for Personal Use software license (valued at $100 USD).
Bring your laptop or tablet and work with the Corporate Information Department on:
- GIS data sharing
- How and where to access web GIS data services
- Share tips and tricks with other local GIS users
About GIS Day
National Geographic Society created Geography Awareness Week to be celebrated the third week of November and since 1999, the Wednesday of this week is celebrated as GIS Day.
2019 marks the 20th (twentieth) anniversary of GIS Day.
